British Etchells Take on the US Etchells National Championships in Marblehead!

Two teams from the Cowes Etchells Fleet travelled to Marblehead last weekend for the 2026 US Etchells National Championships. The event hosted a great turnout of 33 boats.

Team 'Ada' (GBR 1517) raced in local charter boat 'Magic Dragon' USA 1071, with team 'Standfast' present in GBR 1489.

Both teams sailed fantastically in tricky conditions, and a talented fleet:

8th Overall - GBR 1489 Standfast - Simon Patterson, Luke Cross, and Duncan Truswell.

12th Overall - USA 1071 Magic Dragon/GBR 1517 Ada - David Maclean, Jack Wetherell, and James Skulczuk.
