GBR Boats Take on the Coral Reef Cup - Miami Winter Series

A strong showing from the British fleet at the Coral Reef Cup in Miami, going head-to-head with a competitive international Etchells lineup. Although a fair reduction in overall participants for the usual Miami showing, with most teams now inbound towards San Diego for the Etchells World Championships in just over a month's time, the level was as usual world-class.

1st - GBR 1533 – Swedish Blue (Ante Razmilovic)
An outstanding and consistent series sees Swedish Blue take the overall win on 18 points. A well-earned victory built on solid, low scores across the board. Congratulations to Ante Razmilovic, sailing with Phil Toih, and Mark Lees.

8th - GBR 1418 – Exabyte (Shaun Frohlich)
A mixed bag of results but highlights include a race win in R2 and strong single-digit finishes to secure a top-10 overall. Exabyte performed well in Miami to secure a very respectable finish.

15th - GBR 1409 – Ada (David Maclean)
After a tough start to the regatta from missing day 1, Ada bounced back with an impressive 2nd place in Race 5 and a much-improved second half of the series. They should be proud of their second day performance

Great to see GBR boats competing hard on the international stage — and bringing home silverware Next up on the international stage is the Etchells World Championships in San Diego, with a strong GBR representation in attendance.
